Percent Off Chart

What every common discount comes to on a $100 item, so a sale sign converts to dollars without arithmetic. Multiply by the price in hundreds for anything else: 30% off $250 is 2.5 times the row for 30%.

Percent Off Chart reads final price straight off discount, for 12 values from 5 to 75. Every row is computed from the same formula the calculator uses, not measured or copied from another table, so a value between two rows can be worked out the same way. The formula is the one published by NIST Handbook 130.
